Just before the new year eve, we stopped by Scotts Valley skateboard shop to buy a new board for Benoit since He has just turned 7 and the old board is getting too small.
Eron found the perfect board for Benoit.
Benoit's new board is a bit bigger than the old board which is going to belong to Lucas now!
Chris is drinking some good vitamin for the coming session.
Benoit is grinding the cement, soon it will be the copping.
Quentin clearing Benoit's gap.
Chris feeble on the rail.
Next we moved to the big bowl where Chris showed us some of his nicest tricks (boneless, lip slide, FS air...)

Fun spot and Scotts Valley skateparks
My new lens is great but I am not yet in full control. During the day, I met Alex twice, the morning at SV and the afternoon at Fun Spot.
Alex at Scotts Valley.
Cody at Scotts Valley wearing Half-Pint. Great clothes but a bit pricey.
Raven loves skateboarding, doesn't he?
Mike learning FS air. Not bad.
Alex again at the Fun Spot.
Jason the mini-ramp master ripping it up.

Alex, Raven, Steven and Cody at Scotts Valley
Since Alex, Raven could not make it to Pacifica today, they skateboarded instead Scotts Valley.
Raven is trying a new (?) trick, the 360 alley-oop over the Stello gap. That is the most insane trick I have ever seen.
Benoit acid drop
Steven rock to faky
Nice style
Cody cruzing the small bowl
Cody FS air
Audry BS grind
Alex tail crail (?)
Cody air in the big bowl
Cody melon air. I really thought He was going to land on me.
I forgot about how high Raven can go and therefore the mishaps about the framing.
Style is everyting.
Cody is just so good.
Alex Stello gap
Raven working the 360 alley oop.

Cressey Rice at Pacifica
On our way to San Francisco, we decided to check out the Pacifica skate park. The skatepark is just about bowls, small to big. Whereas Scotts Valley big bowl is quite intimidating for amateur like me, the Pacifica big bowl is fun to ride and easy to drop in.
I quickly notice Cressey, who was riding strong and fast. We did not stay long, but long enough, for me to take those few shots.
Next time the TDMC team from Scotts Valley goes to Pacifica, I will have no excuses for not going.

Scotts Creek, Santa Cruz surfing photos
Since Francois has the right lens, and I have the right camera, we decided to share. The camera was mounted with his 300 mm lens with my tripod and the camcorder with his monopod.
Left side of Scotts Creek
Brave and Courageous surfers do not fear the cold and the shore break.
Next photos were shot by Francois. He does know how to use a camera for sure.

me freezing in the cold
Wow
The next photos were taken at the waterfall surf spot. It was huge but we were lacking a big lens. Next time we will come well equipped.
Francois trying to find his way to the surf spot.
The wave must be about 2 feet over head.
